Meeting in Fellowship Hall

Monthly Dinners: Our seniors come together the first Saturday of every month at 12:30 p.m. for a covered dish luncheon. They are encouraged to bring their friends for a time of Fun, Food, and Fellowship. We have monthly themes such as Country and Western day, Fifties day, & Hawaii luaus. Sometimes we have special singers come to minister. But we always enjoy our time together .We always have great door prizes to give away and the fun never ends. Life After Fifty’s Fun .

Senior Adult Facilities: We minister at local nursing homes and in other senior adult retirement centers.

Adopt a Shut-in: We minister to those members of our Church that no longer are physically able to attend church services on a regular basis.  A shut-in is matched up with someone who has volunteered to adopt them. The volunteer spends time with them, cheering them up, praying for them and letting them know that they are not forgotten.

Senior Adult Choir:  The senior adult choir is very active in ministry, singing at local churches and area nursing homes. Practice on Sunday 5:00 p.m. in chapel.

Red Hat Ladies:  Meet once a month for a fellowship dinner. Sometimes they minister at senior retirement centers or nursing homes.

Every Christmas:  The seniors deliver fruit baskets to shut-ins, schools, police & fire departments and community centers.

National Senior Convention: The seniors travel to Tennessee every April and participate in national competition (singing, crafts, instruments)
