L.A.F.F. (Life After Fifty is Fun) is a Princeton Pike Ministry for ages 50 or over. We want to invite you to get involved with the seniors at Princeton Pike. We believe being involved is positive and we encourage you participate in activities to stimulate growth both spiritually and physically. No matter what your age, you are still a very vital part of the church.
Bi-Monthly Dinners:
A place where the fun never ends the first Saturday of every other month at 12:30 PM. We enjoy a covered dish lucheon along with the enjoyment of a special music guest. Often we have themes such as country and western day, fifties and hat day, etc. along with great door prizes. This is a place where we can come together and really get to know each other as we share fun, food, and fellowship. If you are 50 or over and want to enjoy the company of other Christians your age, come and be a part of L.A.F.F.
Outreach:
Every Christmas the L.A.F.F. ministry chooses a special group to minister to. In past years we have ministered to military men and women, we have taken Christmas to Over The Rhine feeding the homeless in the streets of Cincinnati. We deliver fruit baskets to shut-ins, schools, police, fire departments, hospitals and community centers.
Wounded Warriors Ministry:
This is a devoted group of individuals who visit the shut-ins and those who are in nursing homes.
Annual Chili Cook-Off & Cake Auction:
The Senior Adults have a yearly chili cook-off to raise money for different outreach ministries that we feel the Lord lays on our heart. In the past we have helped:
- Haiti Earthquake Victims
- Philippines Village to build a system to supply water
- Helped buy food for our Church Food Pantry
Day Trips, Fun and Travel Activities:
We have a bowling league that bowls once a month and game nights when we bring our favorite board games and snacks.
We enjoy day trips to places such as:
- Cincinnati Zoo
- LaComedia
- Omni Max Theater
- UnionTerminal Natural History Museum
- Cincinnati Duck Rides
- Christian Concerts
And for those that are a little more adventurous and able to travel the distance:
- Orlando Florida - Church of God General Assembly
- The Smoky Mountain Senior Convention
- Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket
- New York
- Washington, DC
- And Many, Many More Locations
