Covenant Sisters Ministries is a connection resource for all women.  It is the desire of this ministry to build relationships and connections between sisters in the Lord.  Recognizing that the love of Christ and unity is vital to produce healthy and rich ministry, it is the foundation of Covenant Sisters.  It is the desire of CSM to be completely submitted and be obedient to the Word of God as it states in 1 John chapters 3 and 4, “we are to love one another” not just “in words or tongues but with actions and in truth” and if we love one another we are confident “God lives in us and His love is made complete in us.”  The prevailing and perpetual prayer of this ministry is “Lord, make us one” in accordance to the prayer Christ prayed in John 17.  With this in mind, there has been and will continue to be ministries developed to care for the spiritual, social, and physical needs of all women.  The following ministries are available for those specific purposes.

Inner Church Ministries

G.E.M.S. [God Empowering Mothers Supernaturally] (Mrs. Robyn Miller, Director) - this ministry meets every fourth Tuesday of the month focusing on the needs of mothers with newborns to school aged adolescents.  The goal of this ministry is to gain strength and encouragement from women that may be experiencing some of the same challenges. There is a strong emphasis on prayer along with guidance gained through the Word of God and Godly experiences and influence from mentors.

Women of Purpose (Ms. Sonja Bowling, Director) - this ministry has been developed for widows of all ages. They meet every third Saturday of each month. The focus of this ministry is to help widows understand although their circumstances have changed, they are still important, vital, and needed in the Body of Christ.  Christ commanded that we care for the orphans and widows. CSM believes it is not optional to minister to the widows and that every widow has the capability to minister as a result of her circumstances.

G.I.R.L.F.R.I.E.N.D.S. [Girls In Real Life Forming Relationships, Impacting, Edifying, Nurturing, Discipling, and Serving one another] (Mrs. Alana Jacobs, Director)- Girlfriends was developed to create opportunities to form new as well as build upon existing friendships with a generation of young ladies from college age, newly married, young mothers, and young women starting out on this journey called “life.”   It is for all young women that are looking for a soft place to gain strength and encouragement.  There is an emphasis on the Word of God, connecting with one another, and an overwhelming sense of joy received from friendships that God has purposed.  They meet every first Thursday of the month.  In addition, occasional activities and fellowship is planned for all to enjoy!

Women of the Word (Mrs. Kimberly Clardy, Facilitator) - the Word of God is the source of life.  It is the desire of Women of the Word to provide many avenues of materials to learn, obtain, and apply the Word to women’s lives of all ages.  WOW convenes every first and third Tuesday of each month at 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM open to all women of all ages.  There are a variety of materials used for Women of the Word including topical studies, book studies, book of the Bible studies, themed Bible and Video series and much more creative resources to engage women in the Word.

Impact (Mrs. Sue Malinak, Director) - this ministry is an outstanding tool for mentoring young girls (grades 1st thru 6th) in the Word and shaping them to be extraordinary Women of God.  This ministry is underneath the auspice of Faith Works Children’s Ministries.  However, Covenant Sisters feels a longing and desire to be a caregiver to this worthy ministry as an additional support ministry.

*Future ministries are currently being developed and implemented.

On a monthly basis activities, retreats, conference, dinners, and banquets to name a few are being planned to give opportunity for women to connect with one another.

Outreach

Covenant Sisters Ministries has a true burden and commitment to reach out beyond the four walls of Princeton Pike Church of God.  With this in mind, outreach ministries are continually being planned to impact locally and globally.  It is a true fulfillment of the great commission and a life source for CSM.  It offers opportunity for the ladies of Princeton Pike Church of God to not only be served but to serve (Gal 5:13).

Communication

Communication is a key for prosperous and productive ministry.  Covenant Sisters is excited to introduce a quarterly newsletter called “Sister 2 Sister”.  This will serve as a source to communicate upcoming events, to spotlight women in the local church, and to offer encouragement through devotionals and praise reports.  If you are interested in receiving this publication, please contact us via email.
