The Potter’s House Child Development Center purposes to positively impact the community by providing an excellent academic and quality childcare program within a nurturing Christian environment.

A motivating, developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily schedule is implemented to encourage maturity of the whole child, in the areas of physical, intellectual, spiritual and social/emotional growth. This pattern is modeled after the childhood experience of Jesus Christ, as illustrated scripturally in Luke 2:52, which reads, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”

Two programs to benefit the needs of your family!

Full Time Childcare

*serving children from 6 weeks-4th grade *open 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

*breakfast, hot lunch, p.m. snack prepared daily

*regulation high school gym on premises, and several age appropriate outdoor playgrounds

*keyless entry, camera surveillance, and full intercom system to connect classrooms for security

*latchkey program with transportation to and from Lakota schools, provided by school system

*preschool and learning programs provided for each age group, with curriculum based on State of Ohio Early Learning Content Standards

*weekly Bible stories and periodic chapel sessions with our children’s ministry team

Part Time Preschool

*preschool sessions are held September-May

*three year old classes held Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:00-11:30 a.m.

*prekindergarten classes held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00-11:30, or 12:30-3:00

*snack time provided daily

*preschool curriculum based on State of Ohio Early Learning Content Standards

*faith based program with Bible stories and music
