What is Twitter?

Twitter is a free social networking service that allows family and friends to stay connected through real-time updates that answer the question: "What are you doing?" Updates to Twitter are called tweets and are confined to 140 characters. Twitter can be used online and can also be synced to your phone for easy updates on the go. We will use this service to provide information and resources that will be beneficial you the PPCOG church family.

Please Note: Twitter is free via the internet, but using SMS (Short Message Service) for phone updates may incur service provider fees, depending on your phone plan.

How do I get started?

The first step is to create your own Twitter profile. Once you are on Twitter, you can follow the Princeton Pike Church of God profile page for all the latest updates. You can also make regular updates to your own profile page and connect with other PPCOG attendees and friends by following their pages and allowing them to follow yours.

What can I post?

The PPCOG followers and reply post on Twitter will be monitored regularly, and we ask that all participants observe our Twitter guidelines. Inappropriate content, photos, language, or negative critiques (whether personal or general) will not be tolerated. The PPCOG profile on Twitter is for the purpose of social networking and is not the proper format for people to promote their business or political agendas or to promote or raise funds for special causes. PPCOG reserves the right the block people from following them.
