Small Groups create a culture in which people who are a part of our body feel they belong to a family more than a church. We are stronger together in community. Creating a culture of doing family well, both at home and in our church body.
From sports groups to lunch groups, mom’s groups to student groups, Bible study groups to creative arts groups, our groups are as varied as we are. The things you are already doing in your life are the things that can make up Small Groups.

Frequently asked questions?
HOW CAN I RECRUIT PEOPLE FOR MY SMALL GROUP?
Start with people who are already in your sphere of influence (co-workers, friends, neighbors).
They do not have to attend Princeton Pike to be in a small group.
Find people around you who are new to the church, are new believers, or have shown interest in joining a small group.
Post on social media.
Pray God will send the right people to your group.
WHERE CAN I HOST MY SMALL GROUP
From Your Home. Hosting a group from your home can create a more personal experience. Host a group from your home or find someone who is willing to open their home and host your group.
Online. Host a group from anywhere! Find info on how to host an online small group HERE.
Local Coffee Shop or Café. Many local coffee shops and cafés provide a great space for leading a small group. Be sure to inquire about any minimum spending requirements and their hours.
CAN I HAVE A SMALL GROUP THAT’S NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?
Yes! We encourage you to invite others to join your group. If you have filled your group, then simply let us know and we will help you add the people to your group. If your group is closed it will show up on the website as closed/not accepting new members.
HOW DO PEOPLE GET SIGNED UP FOR A SMALL GROUP?
Simply direct individuals to the small group website at ppcog.com/join. As a small group leader, you can also add members to your small group through your Princeton Pike account. To learn how to manage your small group online, view our resource page.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A SMALL GROUP REACHES CAPACITY?
The small group leader can log in to their Princeton Pike account and add additional individuals to their small group if they choose to do so.
WHAT HAPPENS IF NO ONE SIGNS UP FOR MY SMALL GROUP?
Do not panic if no one signs up for your group right away. Do know that when you first start to lead, your group may have fewer people and that is okay. You are the best promoter of your group, so make sure you are personally inviting others to join your small group.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF SOMEONE IN MY GROUP IS GOING THROUGH A DIFFICULT SITUATION?
If you encounter a difficult situation in your small group, please know you are not alone. Use wisdom and be sensitive to the situation. If you’re unsure of what to do, call the church or email jakejacobs@ppcog.com and someone from our team will be happy to assist you.
IF MY SMALL GROUP IS ONSITE, CAN I REQUEST TABLES FOR MY GROUP?
Yes, we’ll provide tables for your small group. We will have chairs in the room for you to use and any additional requests approved by the team.
CAN YOU PRINT HANDOUTS FOR MY SMALL GROUP?
Any handouts or materials needed for the small group will be the responsibility of the small group leader to provide.
