LEGACY

*Note burning ceremony in 2023 representing the generations, families & nations from Princeton Pike Church.

The Princeton Pike Church of God was organized January 1, 1929, and had its humble beginning in an upstairs storeroom facility at 25-1/2 Main Street in Hamilton, Ohio. As the congregation grew, it was necessary to find a larger gathering place. This is when the church purchased its first lot and 300-seat building in 1928, located at the corner of 7th and Chestnut Street in Hamilton. In 1947, the congregation built a new structure which sat approximately 400 people at this same location.

In 1960, the church purchased 13 acres of ground and a parsonage at 2470 Princeton Road. Construction of a 600-seat sanctuary began, and a new church structure was erected and dedicated in July 1966. In the fall of 1976, construction began for a large multi-purpose Youth Activity Center adjoining the church structure. This activity center was dedicated on May 1, 1977.

Steady growth continued, which prompted the need to construct a new auditorium adjoining the Princeton Road facility, which would seat approximately 1800 people. Ground was broken for a new sanctuary in 1983, with dedication day on November 18, 1984.

The growth continued and 100 acres were purchased in Liberty Township at the corner of Route 747 (Princeton Glendale Rd) and Millikin Road. On April 15, 2001 (Easter Sunday), a new 4,000-seat facility was dedicated.
